On 28 February 2008, BerMaz Motor Sdn Bhd ("BerMaz") entered into a distribution agreement with Mazda Motor Corporation of Japan ("MC") for the distribution and retail of Completely-Built-Up ("CBU") Mazda motor vehicles andparts in Malaysia effective 1 April 2008. Subsequently, on 29 February 2008, BerMaz had also entered into a Share Sale Agreement with Cycle & Carriage Bintang Berhad ("CCB") for the proposed acquisition of CCB's shareholding in Hercules Automotive Engineers Sdn Bhd, Mazda's business operating company.
